My Story...
Everyone has a story. If you are thinking about hiring me... you will want to know mine.
I have enjoyed a lifetime of great friendships, family, and opportunities that have shaped me into the person and professional I am today. Below is an abbreviated biography...
I graduated from Indiana University of PA with a degree in Communications Media. In my senior year, I received an award for "Producer of the Year" at our college television station and a second award for "Outstanding Achievement in Communications" for working with several of my professors in the Department of Education. In retrospect, I am more grateful today for those honors and experiences... and the confidence they gave me to pursue a post-graduate degree and a career in education and multimedia.
I earned my Master's Degree in Instructional Design/Interactive Tech from the Institute for Interactive Technologies in Bloomsburg, PA and went on to work at both ADP and IMS as an Instructional Designer.
I was given my first management opportunity at The Provident Bank in New Jersey as Employee Development Manager. Becoming a manager just three years out of school came with its own share of challenges and adversity... but I learned a lot about myself and even more from senior leadership and some NYC consultants about executing organizational change and building a learning organization.
Looking back at my resume, my career has been a cyclical evolution for nearly two decades. Although my titles have changed and the technology has definitely changed, my work and my focus has always remained consistent; finding ways to use technology to bridge the gap between where organizations are today, where they want to go, and how to get there.
My education and experiences make me a great partner and collaborator to help analyze learning and development needs, design instructional strategies for knowledge transfer, and adapt while executing them. Whether you are trying to increase motivation, improve processes, align organizational strategies, or measure the effectiveness of learning interventions... you would be hard pressed to find a more qualified and experienced partner.
